Delight...

Delight...

Much like Grace, delight is found in the everyday. It comes often in the little things.
Sweeping in on laughter,
gripping tight with the fingers of a newborn hand.
It is in the unexpected.
Snow covered landscapes,
the parcel delivery truck.
A Spring breeze in February,
a meal at your door.

The sparkling delight of surprise.
It is in the allowing.
Splashing in puddles,
messy moments.
Spontaneous fun,
pages of a good book.

The pure delight of doing nothing.
It is in the accepting
Warm hugs,
rain on your face.
A hand to hold,
quiet seasons.
Silence,
talking loud above the noise.

The warm delight of comfort
It is in the belonging
His Presence
His Love
Him

I love that tree decor. It's so cute. My grandkids would also heart-ily concur (pun definitely intended :) ). Thanks for a lovely post.
